April is National Stress Awareness Month

April is National Stress Awareness Month, which is a time that is meant to bring attention to the negative effects of stress and anxiety. Of course, not all stress is bad. Some experts say a little bit of stress can keep you sharp and focused. But, it still raises the question, “How much stress is too much?”

Dr. Jennifer Hartstein, family clinical psychologist of Hartstein Psychologist Services, joins the NBC News Now Mental Health Check, to discuss the signs and symptoms of having too much stress, the differences between good stress and bad stress, and how people can learn to manage and address their stress and anxiety.
